We are Jen and Chase LaCroix, Owners of Durango Outdoor Exchange!

Durango Outdoor Exchange is a consignment shop that provides quality, used outdoor gear and apparel. We exist for you to sell your stuff, find new gear and get out there and enjoy it!

I created Tailwind for racing the Leadville 100. It’s designed to overcome the nutrition problems faced by endurance athletes in events like 50's, 100's, 24-hour, and multi-day epics. Tailwind combines complete fuel, hydration, and electrolytes in a tasty drink that won’t turn your stomach into a brick.

Since 1994, we’ve been combining the latest in innovative design, technology and construction with the best wool nature has to offer, and it’s this expertise and experience combined with our passion for mountain sports that makes our products so unique.

In essence, sunscreen should be a natural solution to a natural problem. That’s why we use minerals–not chemicals–to protect you from the sun. Our sunscreen is organic and made without chemicals or synthetic ingredients. And since our Non-GMO sunscreen is 100% natural, 100% biodegradable, and 100% reef safe, it not only protects you, but also the world around you.

Our mission is to create innovative high performance gear that reflects our love of adventure and our devotion to the outdoors.  We succeed when we meet the demanding expectation of our most discerning customers and they are proud to use our packs.

In 2012 I completed my first thru-hike on the 2,186 mile Appalachian Trail, hiking from Georgia to Maine. This experience turned out to be a sort of turning point in my life, solidifying my passion for the outdoors and hiking. . . 2014 brought a new adventure in the form of the 2,660 mile Pacific Crest Trail and a hike from Mexico to Canada. Recently, I’ve spent my time trying to document my adventures and share what I’ve learned along the way with others. I’ve also been delving heavily in to the world of homemade backpacking gear.

Since 1992, Chinook Medical Gear, Inc. has been providing custom medical solutions for the harshest environments on earth. We specialize in supporting government agencies, military units, private military contractors, corporations, outfitters and individuals with the latest technology in medical containers, modules, supplies, and kits.

We also generate custom quotes for any medical-related items.

Postpartum Progress is a peer-run, peer-focused 501c3 organization that works to create an atmosphere in which women can recognize when they need help for maternal mental illness, feel safe reaching out for that help, and know that a community of thousands of other mothers stands beside them and behind them.

Mountain Chalet is the only locally owned mountaineering store in Colorado Springs and has been at the same location, downtown, since 1968.

Unlike big chain stores that are run from afar, the Chalet is an independent mountain shop with 40 years of experience specific to the Pikes Peak region.

Pre-expedition intent:  The Missouri River Research Endeavor (MRRE) seeks to survey not only the biological health of the Missouri River, and layer that scientific data on GIS maps of the basin, but also to understand and communicate the human impacts on a vital water source.
